Information For Authors

The Journal of Strategic Business Research (JSBR) invites submissions of original, high-quality scholarly work that contributes to the advancement of strategic management, business innovation, entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, and related disciplines. We welcome authors from diverse academic, professional, and geographic backgrounds.


1. Types of Submissions Accepted

JSBR publishes a wide range of scholarly works, including:

  • Original Research Articles – Empirical or theoretical research contributing new knowledge.

  • Review Articles – Systematic or narrative reviews summarizing the state of the field.

  • Case Studies – Real-world business scenarios with analytical discussion.

  • Conceptual Papers – Theoretical frameworks and models with potential practical applications.

  • Short Communications – Concise reports of new findings.

  • Book Reviews – Scholarly evaluations of recently published works.


2. Submission Guidelines

  • All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system.

  • The manuscript should be written in clear, professional English.

  • Authors should follow the JSBR Author Guidelines, which cover formatting, referencing style, figure/table preparation, and ethical requirements.

  • An abstract of up to 250 words and 4–6 keywords must be included.

  • All references must follow the APA style (or the referencing style specified in the guidelines).


3. Ethical Requirements

  • Authors must ensure their submission is original and not under review elsewhere.

  • All sources must be properly cited; plagiarism in any form is unacceptable.

  • If the research involves human participants or animals, authors must provide evidence of ethical approval.

  • All potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed in the manuscript.


4. Peer Review Process

  • JSBR uses a Triple-blind peer review process to ensure fairness and impartiality.

  • At least two independent experts evaluate each manuscript.

  • Authors will receive reviewer feedback and, where applicable, may be asked to revise and resubmit their work.


5. Author Rights and Responsibilities

  • Authors retain copyright of their work but grant JSBR the right to publish and disseminate the article.

  • Authors may self-archive the accepted manuscript or published version in institutional repositories, subject to proper citation.

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all data, figures, and references in their work.


6. Article Processing Charges (APCs) (if applicable)

  • JSBR operates under an open-access model (if applicable) and may charge an APC to cover the costs of peer review, editing, and hosting.

  • Fee waivers or discounts may be available for authors from low-income countries or in special circumstances.
