Paper Prints Policy

The Journal of Strategic Business Research (JSBR) operates primarily as a digital-first, online publication to promote faster dissemination of research, global accessibility, and environmental sustainability. However, we recognize that printed editions remain valuable for libraries, institutions, archives, and individual readers who prefer physical copies.

1. Primary Mode of Publication

  • All articles are published electronically as the version of record in PDF formats.
  • The online version is considered the official and citable publication.

2. Availability of Printed Copies

  • Print-on-Demand: Authors, institutions, and libraries may request printed copies of individual issues or annual volumes.
  • Special Editions: Printed copies may be produced for conference proceedings, thematic issues, or commemorative volumes.
  • Institutional Subscriptions: Academic and research libraries can subscribe to receive printed annual volumes.

3. Request Process

  • Requests for printed copies must be submitted in writing to the editorial office via email.
  • Authors can indicate a request for printed copies during the proof approval stage.
  • Orders should specify the number of copies, delivery address, and preferred binding format (softcover or hardcover, if available).

4. Costs and Charges

  • Printing and shipping charges apply for all physical copies.
  • Costs will vary depending on page count, color printing requirements, and shipping destination.
  • Institutional orders may be eligible for bulk discounts.

5. Archival Printed Editions

  • The journal may produce archival printed editions for deposit in national libraries or academic archives to preserve the scholarly record in both physical and digital forms.
  • These copies are printed to the highest preservation standards and stored in climate-controlled facilities where required.

6. Environmental Commitment

  • JSBR uses eco-friendly printing practices, including recycled paper and soy-based inks where possible.

The journal encourages readers to use the online version to minimize paper consumption and reduce the carbon footprint associated with distribution.
